Novel Optics equipped Chang’e II with “eyes”
Chang’e ll spacecraft was successful launched on 1st October 2012.
The lenses Novel Optics manufactured for 4 sets of monitoring cameras on Chang’e II Satellite was essential in monitoring the operation and movement of the Satellite. The cameras also managed to capture images of the moon.
The camera on Chang’e II Satellite captured and sent back images of the asteroid “Toutatis”on 15th December 2012.
